Smart Commuter Campaign
Participation in the Clark County Smart Commuter campaign is for commuters who work or live in southwest Washington. This ongoing campaign provides great prizes and incentives to employees who use an alternative commute to work and track their work commute on the Commute Tracker. Think you may be interested? Wheel Options
(October & March) - The Wheel Options are held twice a year, for employees at Clark County CTR affected worksites. Employees who use a commute alternative are eligible to win prizes in work-site, county-wide and statewide drawings. Sponsored by the Washington State Ridesharing Organization (WSRO), Wheel Options is coordinated locally by the Clark County CTR office.
This year the Fall Wheel Options Campaign will be held from October 12-30, 2010. By participating you could have the chance to win $2500 in cash. For more information contact the CTR Administrator.
Drive Less Save More Campaign
The Drive Less Save More Campaign is a SW Washington/Portland Metro regional on-going campaign encouraging citizens to reduce the number of trips they make during the week to help reduce congestion in our area. The Drive Less/Save More Campaign seeks to increase awareness of the benefits of reducing single-person car trips. You can log onto the Drive Less Save More Campaign and pledge to reduce the number of single occupant vehicle trips they make and be eligible to win prizes from a monthly drawing. The Bicycle Transportation Alliance (BTA) non-profit advocacy organization working in Oregon and Southwest Washington sponsors an annual Bike Commute Challenge in September. It is a friendly competition — workplace against workplace — with benefits for companies and individual cyclists when employees bike to work during the month of September. The workplaces with the highest percentage of commutes by bicycle during the month win!
Clark County Bike to Work Week (June 21-25) was a great success! Frank Dick from the City of Vancouver won the Skamania Lodge Getaway grand prize. Other winners included John Tollefson from Columbia Machine ($100 Visa card), Matt Driggers from Hewlett Packard ($100 Fred Meyer card), Kael Godwin from Clark College and Tara Rog from Wells Fargo Financial ($50 Fred Meyer card). Congratulations!
